Fire breaks out in Ghaziabad building

GHAZIABAD: The second-floor office of a chartered accountant in Ghaziabad was completely gutted in a fire that broke out on Wednesday. “There were two office boys inside the room at the time of the fire. Those in the building rushed downstairs as soon as the blaze started. A lot of important documents apart from computers and furniture got destroyed,” Mittal’s friend, Manoj Malik, told TOI.“An electrical short circuit was the cause of fire. No one has been injured,” fire officer Sushil Kumar said.

GHAZIABAD: The second-floor office of a chartered accountant in Ghaziabad was completely gutted in a fire that broke out on Wednesday. The incident took place in F Block of Nehru Nagar where the accountant, Vinay Mittal, runs his office from one of the rooms inside his flat in a three-storey building.Fire department officials said there were no injuries or casualties and the fire did not spread beyond the room that served as Mittal's office. “There were two office boys inside the room at the time of the fire. But they ran to safety downstairs. A lot of important documents apart from computers and furniture got destroyed,” Mittal’s friend, Manoj Malik, told TOI.“An electrical short circuit was the cause of fire. Those in the building rushed downstairs as soon as the blaze started. No one has been injured,” fire officer Sushil Kumar said.
