‘95% work over’, DM sets Feb 20 deadline for Hindon airport

The PWD has also almost completed the road construction work.“The AAI officials informed me that civil work on the terminal was complete and as of now, work on false ceiling and fixing of glasses is going on. “For beautification, we have been instructed by the DM to plant palm trees on both sides of the road,” he added.The PWD, which is constructing the approach road to the terminal, said it is also almost complete. GHAZIABAD: District magistrate Ritu Maheshwari has set February 20 as the deadline to wrap up work on the civilian terminal at the Hindon air base that the Airports Authority of India is developing under the regional connectivity scheme.The order came after Maheshwari, on Wednesday, carried out an inspection of the site where GMC, entrusted with the responsibility of installing streetlights along the road leading to the terminal, maintained that 95% work is complete.
