GHAZIABAD: Mukesh Pandey , district magistrate of Buxar allegedly committed suicide at Ghaziabad railway station on Thursday night. His severed body was discovered on rail track near yard. According to GRP, a suicide note was also found through which his identity was discovered.Somveer Singh of GRP said, "We discovered body of man in his mid-thirties on track hardly 200 meters from Ghaziabad railway station near rail yard at around 10pm. His head was severed from the body and when we searched him a suicide note was found in which he had scribbled that he is ending his life on his own accord and that nobody should be blamed for this" said Singh. "We got to know of his identity through suicide note after which the body has been sent for post mortem," continued Singh.32-year-old Pandey was 2012 batch IAS officer and he was recently posted is Buxar as DM and according to sources had left the town two days ago.It is still not clear when did he reach Ghaziabad and why but his mobile phone was recovered from a hotel in Ghaziabad.
