- Advertisement -Panaji : Mauvin Godinho in a press briefing said Michael Lobo should stop misleading the Taxi Operators and that the digital meters will be given free of cost to the taxi operators. Godinho informed that the department has spent almost 15 crore in providing relief to taxi operators in terms of exemption of Road tax Penalty and other charges. “Taxi operators will get the refund of the meter at the end of the year” said Godinho. “Moment the operators fix the meters they can apply for a refund within 3-5 days 50% cost will be refunded to the operator's account remaining 50% will be credited in the account at the end of the year” said Minister Godinho.
