Panaji : Samil Volvoikar slammed Cumbarjua MLA Pandurang Madkaikar today alleging that he is indirectly asking him to become his supporter. “Madkaikar is asking me to support him. His allegations fall flat because I am not at all trying to increase my bargaining power by wanting to contest elections in Cumbarjua constituency” said Volvoikar. Volvoikar alleged “Madkaikar is trying to bring me back by his side by communicating his request via different people” “He knows many karyakarts have left him. Hence he is frustrated and wants to misguide the people” said Volvoikar. Volvoikar has claimed that Madkaikar did not provide any relief to Cumbarjua locals during the Pandemic time. “He should have reached out to people which he failed to do. On my level I tried to help people during this time and my supporters are well aware about it” said Volvoikar. Samil Volvoikar made these statements after Cumbarjua MLA accused him of contesting elections from Cumbarjua to increase his bargaining power.
