A rally and tree plantation drive was organised by Blue Bells Public School , Sector 10, Gurgaon, to celebrate Van Mahotsav recently. 500 saplings were planted by the students who also pledged to look after them. Peepal Baba (Swami Prem Parivartan), founder of Give Me Trees Trust , visited the school to mark the occasion. Students presented poems and speeches on the theme of conservation . She said, “We should realise that trees are an effective way to prevent global warming and reduce pollution.
