Mewat: The post-mortem of Sahib , the 23-year-old who was allegedly shot dead during a police crossfire in Punhana of Mewat on Tuesday, will be conducted in a government hospital in Delhi, and will be videographed. The FIR in the case will also be amended to name over 30 cops , who were part of a joint exercise to catch a wanted criminal by the police forces of Dehradun in Uttarakhand and Mewat in Haryana, as accused. This was decided in a mahapanchayat in Mewat on Thursday, attended by over 500 people from villages of Hathin and Mewat in Haryana and Alwar in Rajasthan.Following a complaint by the father of the deceased, police have also formed a SIT to carry out a detailed investigation, which will be headed by deputy superintendent Sukhbir Singh. The panchayat started at 10am in Punhana’s Anaj Mandi.
