Also, the city police picked up three suspected Bangladeshi nationals who were living in a slum here without any passport or visa.Police said intelligence agencies had been for weeks keeping tabs on the movement of a man, who was living in the city’s Sikanderpur area as Sohan Singh. Eventually, acting on inputs provided by the agencies, the CM flying squad rounded him up on Thursday. After preliminary investigation, the man was identified as Md Shah Rukh (25), claimed to be from Thakurganj in Kishanganj district of Bihar The suspect had managed to get a PAN card, a driving licence as Sohan Singh and opened two bank accounts — one with Oriental Bank of Commerce and another in SBI — on the basis of those fake identity documents.DSP (CM flying squad) Jitender Gehlawat said the suspect had got hold of Sohan Singh’s 10th pass certificate of CBSE Board. “He first forged the certificate and replaced Sohan’s picture on it with one of his. The police are also scanning the details of his two bank accounts and trying to find out why he created so many documents and opened bank accounts under a fake name.Police said Sohan or Shah Rukh had been living in the city for about past five years along with his father Md Kasim, mother and two siblings (a brother and a sister) in a rented accommodation in Sikanderpur area, and used to sell shoes and slippers on pavements for living.The three Bangladeshi nationals, on the other hand, were picked up from a slum near the powerhouse in Chakkarpur. Police said prima facie it appeared Md Alif, Md Mitu Khan and Md Mizu were from Bangladesh and used to do menial jobs in the city.“The three men were arrested during a search operation and booked under the Foreigners Act by Sector 29 police,” said Subhash Bokan, a spokesperson for Gurgaon police.Sources said intelligence agencies, CID and police had been conducting raids and monitoring movement of suspected people in the city in view of security alert for August 15.
