Shops razed to clear way for link to Dwarka e-way

GURUGRAM: The connecting road of sectors 82 and 83 was cleared of unauthorised shops by the district town planner (DTP) and Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) on Tuesday. A few people who were protesting against the drive were arrested by the team headed by SHO, Kherki Daula,” said a statement by Huda.Several residents supported the demolition drive. This move will save a 4-km travel.”Residents of Vatika apartment society had written to the chief minister in July about the condition of the roads in the area. “The village and panchayat roads passing through the township are in a poor condition. Other services such as drainage are also inadequate,” Lokesh Yadav, a resident of Sector 82 said, adding, “I had written to the chief minister about these issues. I am glad that the shops have been razed and now we can access Dwarka Expressway.”
