GURUGRAM: Bodies of two youths suspected to have died of drug overdose were recovered from a room in Sector 62 on Thursday, police said.A syringe and bottles of narcotics were also found strewn near the body, which led the cops to believe that drug overdose could have killed the duo. The police control room received a call about the two men lying unconscious inside the room. “Soon after we received the information, a police team was rushed to the spot. They found that the two youths were already dead by then,” said Satbir Singh, the SHO of Sector 65 police station.Police said they had checked with residents of nearby slums but no one could identify them. Singh said the area where the two youths were found dead is located between Braha Chowk and Ramgarh Chowk, which mostly houses shanties of migrant labourers. “The bodies have been sent to the mortuary. We are waiting for their identification,” the officer said.The incident comes close on the heels of the death of a murder convict serving life term in Bhondsi jail who died of drug overdose. The inmate had allegedly tried to sneak in capsules of drugs into the jail.
