Remove squatters near drain: NGT

GURUGRAM: Expressing concern over the laxity shown by the district administration in complying with its November order, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has given the "last opportunity" to the deputy commissioner to remove encroachments on a 400m-long stretch of Badshapur drain along Gurugram-Faridabad road within 15 days. "We give the last opportunity to the deputy commissioner, Gurgaon, to comply with the order passed by the tribunal on November 11, 2018, and needful be positively done within a period of 15 days," states the order by the green court.
