AMBALA: After Congress top leadership in Delhi instructed Haryana Congress leaders to unite for the upcoming Parivartan Rally, Rajya Sabha member parliament (MP) Kumari Selja on Sunday held meeting with the party leaders at her residence to discuss the strategy for the upcoming Yatra and the Lok Sabha elections The Congress is starting its Parivartan Yatra in the country on March 26 and it would be reaching Ambala on March 29.As per sources, after facing the pressure of integrity from top Congress leadership, all the leaders of the region which were earlier working as separate groups of the Congress on Sunday united under the leadership of MP Kumari Selja at her residence in Ambala.In the meeting, former state president Phool Chand Mullana, former minister Nirmal Singh, former deputy chief minister Chandermohan and leaders of Ashok Tanwar group were present in Ambala.The sources disclosed, in the meeting the strategy of conducting the Parivartan Rally from March 26 to 31 was discussed among the leaders.While talking to media, MP Selja said, “As the elections are near our party is fully prepared to accept any sought of a challenge. In Haryana, our entire leadership has united under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and every leader is fully motivated to participate in the upcoming elections.”When questioned about would the integrity of Congress leadership in Haryana remain intact up to the state legislative assembly elections, Selja said, “Every leader works as per their respective analysation, the time for the challenge is the elections. We would fight with integrity and same would remain intact during the state assembly elections as well.”About Rahul Gandhi could contest elections from multiple places, Selja said, “The decision is in the hands of the high command. PM Modi has also fought elections from multiple seats, therefore, there is nothing wrong in it.”
