Two killed in separate hit-&-runs

GURUGRAM: Two people were killed in separate hit and run accidents on Wednesday and Thursday. The police have registered an FIR under sections 279(rash driving) and 304A(death by negligence) in the Bilaspur police station.In another accident, a driver working for a transport company was killed near the Rampura flyover on the Delhi-Jaipur expressway on Thursday night. A security guard from the nearby company found the body lying on the road. The deceased has been identified as Neeraj, 42, a native of Oriya in Uttar Pradesh. In the first accident, Subhash Chand, a 28-year-old carpenter from Bhiwadi was killed after his motorbike collided with a canter head near Pukharpur village on Wednesday.Sanjay, a scrap dealer who witnessed the accident told the police while he was trying to rescue the motorist, the truck driver escaped from the scene, leaving the truck at the accident site.Chand was taken to a nearby private hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
