Two ram cars into bike, fire shots in air, booked

He also abused me.When I asked him to behave properly, he pulled out a weapon from his pocket and threatened me. We hope to identify and arrest the accused soon," said ASI Ashwini Kumar, the investigating officer. He also fired few shots in the air.

GURUGRAM: In a case of road rage, two men travelling in a white Maruti Swift not only rammed a two-wheeler but also threatened the rider by firing shots in the air.An FIR has been registered, but the accused are yet to be identified.According to police, the entire episode happened around 11.30pm on Saturday in Indira Colony near Artemis hospital.The victim got scared once the accused took out the gun and fired shots in air, so without wasting anytime he left the spot.The victim, identified as 33-year-old Satish Kumar, a resident of Wazirabad village, lodged a complaint with the Sector 53 police station. In the complaint, he claimed he was returning home after meeting someone when the crime took place."I was on my way home when a speeding Maruti Swift came from the back and hit my scooter . I somehow managed to maintain my balance. It was an empty road and not many people were around. When I asked the driver that how could he drive so irresponsibily, one of the two men came out and started misbehaving with me. He also abused me.When I asked him to behave properly, he pulled out a weapon from his pocket and threatened me. He also fired few shots in the air. I got frightened due to the gun and ran from there to save myself," said the victim in his complaint.As per the complaint, an FIR has been registered against two unidentified persons under sections 279 (negligence of driving), 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety) and 285 (negligent conduct with respect to fire) of IPC and 25-54-59 of Arms Act at Sector 53 police station."The victim could not note down the number of car. He doesn't remember their faces too so it will take little bit of time before we are able identify the accused and trace the car. We are looking into the CCTV footage from the nearby areas. We hope to identify and arrest the accused soon," said ASI Ashwini Kumar, the investigating officer.
