"But, now it will be done by Huda," said Yadav. In this regard, there are plans to shift the toll plaza towards Jaipur (near Pachgaon) from its current location. Once the plaza is shifted, it will allow commuters of Gurgaon to travel to Manesar without paying any toll. "Work order has been issued for the road(s) and construction will start at the earliest," said Huda administrator Yashpal Yadav. Sources said the alternatives would be helpful even after the plaza is shifted as they would distribute the traffic along the NH-8 and ease the bottleneck near Kherki Daula. But the proposed roads were delayed for some or the other reasons.Initially, Huda had come up with a plan to construct these two 6-lane roads, along with other sector roads, with the help of private developers who had projects in the areas.

GURUGRAM: Work is set to start on two six-lane master roads, which will connect Southern Peripheral Road ( SPR ) with NH-8 at two different points and allow vehicles headed Manesar bypass the bottleneck at Kherki Daula Currently, SPR meets the national highway around one kilometre ahead of the toll plaza. As per the plan, the sector dividing road between 75 and 75A would be developed as a 60-metre-wide thoroughfare, which will stretch along the lane between sectors 77 and 78, and meet NH-8 near Sector 83.The same thoroughfare will branch out near Sector 79A and pass through sectors 78 and 80, to meet the expressway near 82A.Once ready, these two routes will allow commuters coming from Golf Course Road and Faridabad-side to go directly towards Manesar, without needing to cross the toll plaza and thereby reducing the traffic volume at perennially busy Kherki Daula."Work order has been issued for the road(s) and construction will start at the earliest," said Huda administrator Yashpal Yadav. "Currently, people are heavily dependent on a few important roads. These alternative routes will help ease snarls on NH-8 and reduce travel time for commuters," he added.Commuters have been demanding shifting of the toll plaza for a long time, while industrialists have been expressing concerns over delays in reaching Manesar from Gurgaon due to the snarls at the toll plaza. After the Happening Haryana Global Investors' Summit in March 2016, the state government had started exploring various options/routes to connect Gurgaon with Manesar. But the proposed roads were delayed for some or the other reasons.Initially, Huda had come up with a plan to construct these two 6-lane roads, along with other sector roads, with the help of private developers who had projects in the areas. The developers were supposed to construct the roads against their pending external development charges (EDC). "But, now it will be done by Huda," said Yadav. In this regard, there are plans to shift the toll plaza towards Jaipur (near Pachgaon) from its current location. Once the plaza is shifted, it will allow commuters of Gurgaon to travel to Manesar without paying any toll. This will not only ease traffic but also reduce the travel time. Sources said the alternatives would be helpful even after the plaza is shifted as they would distribute the traffic along the NH-8 and ease the bottleneck near Kherki Daula.
