Airmen complete training at ATSAs many as 3,106 trainee airmen successfully completed their basic training and moved out to various trade training establishments of the Indian Ai r Force at a colourful passing out parade at Airmen Training School (ATS), Sambra on Friday. Air Vice Marshal SP Dharkar, assistant chief of air staff (training), who was the chief guest, reviewed the parade and presented trophies to meritorious trainee airmen. Air Commodore Arun Bhaskar Gupta, Air Officer Commanding, ATS, Sambra was present. Addressing the new air warriors, Dharkar said learning is a continuous process and one should keep abreast with the ever-changing technological environment. He said there are ample opportunities in the Air Force to improve one's individual profile and growth in service depending on merit, self-resolve and commitment.

There is a need to develop professional skills by learning continuously during different stages of training, he added.The officer advised the trainees to channelize their energy in the right direction and be disciplined. He said there are ample opportunities in the Air Force to improve one's individual profile and growth in service depending on merit, self-resolve and commitment. He asked the trainees to ensure optimal contribution in every assigned task and contribute towards the overall battle preparedness of the IAF.Among the prize winners from newly passed out trainees- AC (U/T) Khade Vivek Rajendra was adjudged as the best in general service training, AC (U/T) Md Aijaj Khan as best in academics, AC (U/T) Mohit Kumar Sain as best marksman and AC (U/T) Rohit Sharma as best all rounder trainee. Air Commodore Arun Bhaskar Gupta, Air Officer Commanding, ATS, Sambra was present.
