HUBBALLI: Commissioner of the directorate of urban land transport Darpan Jain said that the Hubballi-Dharwad Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) will open for public in November if works continue with the same speed.Speaking to reporters here o n Friday after inspecting the progress of the project, he said BRTS in Hubballi-Dharwad is more advanced than Ahamadabad and Pune, so it will be a model public transport system in South India . "Moreover this project has been designed keeping in view the population growth in the next 20 years in the twin cities," he said.The project envisages Rs 800 crore investment.
