The eight-yearold boy reportedly told police his mother promised them a movie outing in Koppal and later brought them to railway station on the pretext of going to Gadag.Rohini Kotagara, a superintendent with Government Stay Home, Koppal, said they have informed the woman's relatives, besides counseling her.
