Resignation of the Judge who pronounce Makkah Masjid case verdict, rejected

HYDERABAD: The resignation of special NIA court judge, who acquitted all five accused including right-wing activist Swami Aseemanand in the Makkah Masjid blast case has been rejected. According to NDTV reports, the special NIA court judge’s resignation has been cancelled and he has been asked to end his leave and return to his duties. Hours after delivering verdict on Monday, Judge K Ravinder Reddy citing personal reasons, submitted his resignation to Chief Justice of Andhra High court and had proceeded on 15-day leave. The blast, which took place on May 18, 2007 was allegedly carried out by a group of right-wing terrorists.
