Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today said that the Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu festival will be conducted in Secunderabad in a grand manner from July 29 to 30. The officials of various departments have to coordinate for smooth conduct of the Bonalu festivities at the premises, he said. The minister made a visit to the temple and inspected the premises and asked the officials to provide all amenities and facilities to the devotees. Call short term tenders to complete 7 days before the festivities he said. Since a large number of people throng the temple, necessary arrangements have to be made in advance he said. Take steps for re-carpeting the roads and make patches and put in place 5 lakhs of drinking water packets, he said. Talasani also said the officials to coordinate and ensure that devotees do not put to inconvenience during the festivities. Traffic regulation, barricading, parking, LED lighting, ambulance, health and medical team, sanitation and uninterrupted power supply and others are key as part of the Bonalu for smooth conduct he said.
