Corteva Agriscience, the agriculture division of DowDuPont, has launched Pexalon, a hopper management solution for paddy crop. The product comes in the backdrop of farmers facing the menace of aggressive plant-hoppers attacking rice crop. According to the release, Pexalon would help Indian rice-growers address the long-standing challenge of damaging pests, specifically the brown plant-hoppers and white-backed plant-hoppers. Corteva Agriscience would become an independent, publicly traded company on completion of a previously announced spinoff by June 2019.
