HC orders closure of explosives factory

The bench said the factory should be shut till it complied with the conditions mentioned in the notices served by the officials. The Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday passed an order for closure of an explosives factory located in Chillemamidi village of Sangareddy district following a report from the officials of Revenue Department and Telangana Pollution Control Board. A division bench comprising Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan and Justice Ramesh Ranganathan gave the direction after hearing a PIL which alleged that blasts being carried out by the factory were damaging nearby houses.
