No water shortage in Hyderabad till next summer

We do not require emergency pumping, now that the water level in the dam is rising steadily and is set to reach FRL by the end of this monsoon,” a senior HMWS&SB official told STOI.With emergency pumping off its head, the water board can save big time on the power bill as well. Last year, when the board pressed emergency pumps, it ran up a huge electricity bill of Rs 5 crore. But, the water board is not ready to go for the jugular.
