Rajgopal Reddy denies changing party

On Thursday, at a meeting of party workers of the Munugode constituency at Abdullahpurmet here, Mr. Rajgopal Reddy called AICC Secretary incharge R.C. At a press conference here, Mr. Rajgopal Reddy said instead of issuing a show-cause notice, the party should look into the issues raised by him over neglect of party workers who had fought with the ruling party braving pressures and threats. Within hours of receiving a show-cause notice from the Congress for his strong remarks against the party leadership, MLC Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy reiterated his charge of sincere workers and leaders being denied opportunity in the 10 party committees constituted for the elections. At the press conference, Mr. Reddy also targeted TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and said the latter deliberately denied opportunities to the followers in the constituencies where Komatireddy brothers had a say. I have no intention to hurt Mr. Khuntia.”He also claimed that he had personally requested Mr. Revanth Reddy to join the party and was not against his entry.

I have no intention to hurt Mr. Khuntia.” He also claimed that he had personally requested Mr. Revanth Reddy to join the party and was not against his entry. But people like him who had fought for Telangana as Parliament Member and also fought the TRS were not given due recognition. Khuntia names and accused him of listening to a coterie while taking decisions that had hurt the party. This led to issuance of a show-cause notice. At the press conference, Mr. Reddy also targeted TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and said the latter deliberately denied opportunities to the followers in the constituencies where Komatireddy brothers had a say. He also used some strong words like ‘brokers’ to describe some leaders in the party. On the rumours about he shifting his loyalties, Mr. Reddy said rumours were being spread deliberately by people within his own party and also the TRS that played the mind game to poach Congress leaders.
