Villagers of Lingarajupet decide to boycott elections

They have put up posters stating that no political party was welcome into their village and they were boycotting the elections. According to sources, land purification was not completed for about 87 acres in the village and this has irritated the villagers forcing them to take this decision. Vexed with the apathy of officials in not correcting the land records and not extending Rythu Bandhu scheme, the villages of Lingarajupet in Gajwel Division headquarters have decided to boycott elections as the land issue was not settled in their village.
