Fire accident at Exhibition: Matter reaches Telangana High Court

In an incident which took place at the exhibition, huge fire broke out. According to the report published in New Indian Express, after the accident, Mr. Khaja Aijazuddin, an advocate filed an IPL in Telangana High Court seeking CBCID or SIT probe. During the hearing of the PIL, the bench questioned TS Govt’s rational behind granting permission to All India Industrial Exhibition Society to hold Numaish despite the fact that the fire safety measures were missing. The bench also raised question over the government’s decision to allow the society to continue the exhibition even after the massive fire accident. Although attempts were made to control the fire, it engulfed 200 stalls at the exhibition.Out of 200 stalls, 150 reduced to ashes.Due to the incident, seven people were hospitalized.

This massive fire incident was triggered due to alleged negligence of a person.As per the details, a person had thrown a burning cigarette in the dust bin of a Mahesh Bank’s ATM. Although attempts were made to control the fire, it engulfed 200 stalls at the exhibition.Out of 200 stalls, 150 reduced to ashes.Due to the incident, seven people were hospitalized. Luckily, no casualty was reported.
