TIRUPATI: YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy continued to attack TDP supremo and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu during his back-to-back road shows at Badvel, Mydukur in Kadapa district, and Puttur in Nagari constituency of Chittoor district on Friday.Jagan said Naidu has lost his credibility in the state. “Time has come to bring about a change. No leader who fails to keep his poll promises should be given a second chance as it is credibility which should be of utmost importance to any leader. And a leader who gets elected and does not fulfil his promises after staying in power for five years has no right to seek a second chance. Naidu is full of lies and deceit and is only good at making fake promises,” the YSRC chief said.He added that the TDP chief has pledged the interests of the state, including core issues such as special category status for AP and establishment of Kadapa steel plant, only to derive personal gains.“People should realise that the TDP had its MPs as ministers in the BJP government for almost four years but could achieve nothing concrete for the state which shows their failure,” Jagan added. He further alleged that Naidu is desperately trying his best to hide his government’s failures through an aggressive advertisement campaign. “But the TDP chief should realise that people are no longer in the mood to fall for his cheap gimmicks,” Jagan said. Accusing Naidu of trying to retain power through backdoor means, Jagan cautioned voters that stooges of TDP will approach them and try to ‘buy’ their votes.
