Only education can restore the lost position of the community, says Zahid Ali Khan

He also said that only education can restore the lost position of the community. The counseling session was started with the speech delivered by Dr. Shaukat Ali Mirza, Managing Trustee of Helping Hands. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan expressed his concern over the large number of girls attending the counseling session that the boys and advised the parents to take case of their children. of Telangana, Siasat Urdu Daily and Faiz-e-Aam Trust extended financial assistance to the tune of lakhs of rupees.

Hyderabad: Applauding the initiative taken by Faiz-e-Aam Trust and Helping Hand, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily told that the purpose of students’ counselling is to give an opportunity to make their future brighter. He was addressing a counseling session for the students of 10th class organized by Faiz-e-Aam Trust and Helping Hand at Salarjung Museum yesterday. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan expressed his concern over the large number of girls attending the counseling session that the boys and advised the parents to take case of their children. He also said that only education can restore the lost position of the community. He cited the examples of two girls who had secured 19th and 22nd rank in IIIT entrance test and secured the seats. They are now getting lakhs of rupees as salary. He also mentioned that an Old City girl, Salwa Fatima has become a commercial pilot on the strength of her hard work. In order to meet her training expenses, Govt. of Telangana, Siasat Urdu Daily and Faiz-e-Aam Trust extended financial assistance to the tune of lakhs of rupees. The counseling session was started with the speech delivered by Dr. Shaukat Ali Mirza, Managing Trustee of Helping Hands. Giving the examples of Degree Exams of OU and Intermediate exams, he told that every year, girls supersede the boys. He mentioned that Faiz-e-Aam Trust and Helping Hands are making an effort to support the students to excel in their studies. He requested the parents and guardians also to take appropriate steps in this direction. Through his power point presentation, he showed that instead of blind following, parents should do some ‘home work’. Mr. Tajammul Ali Mirza, Principal of Al Sadiq School, Dubai in his speech highlighted the educational standards of international level. He stressed the need for the students to observe the changes which have taken place in the field of teaching and learning during the past few years. At the end of the session, Mr. Iftekhar Husain, Secretary of Faiz-e-Aam Trust thanked the students and their parents and said that the trust is always anxious to uplift the standard of education of the students.
