Hyderabad: Heavy rains lash the city; Bolarum records highest rainfall

According to the report published in Telangana Today, traffic problems were witnessed at Abids, Basheerbagh, Banjara Hills, Yousufguda, Punjagutta, Ameerpet, Khairatabad, Dilsukhnagar and other areas. In order to resolve the waterlogging problem, Mr. M. Dana Kishore, GHMC Commissioner instructed the officials to use static pumps. It may be mentioned that Bolarum received the highest rainfall of 29.5 mm whereas, Banjara Hills and Asifnagar received rainfall of 27.5 mm and 26.5 mm respectively.

Many commuters faced difficulties due to the waterlogging problem. According to the report published in Telangana Today, traffic problems were witnessed at Abids, Basheerbagh, Banjara Hills, Yousufguda, Punjagutta, Ameerpet, Khairatabad, Dilsukhnagar and other areas. In order to resolve the waterlogging problem, Mr. M. Dana Kishore, GHMC Commissioner instructed the officials to use static pumps. Monsoon Monitoring Officers are also instructed to be alert. It may be mentioned that Bolarum received the highest rainfall of 29.5 mm whereas, Banjara Hills and Asifnagar received rainfall of 27.5 mm and 26.5 mm respectively. Thundershowers are expected on Friday too.
