A+ A- HYDERABAD: Muqtedar Amir Khan was a top banker in Chicago, in the United States before he comes back to Hyderabad. In 2015, Khan started an organization, Tomorrow’s India, with his partner Mohammed Aladdin Parvez at Malakpet. The organization trains the unemployed city youths and placed them in jobs. Khan got students from all walks of life, over the past two years some of his students have been walking in straight out of the local police station – TOI report. Wandering Youth: Khan says, once he had read an article in the newspaper about Operation Chabutra, under which cops would detain Wandering Youth with the intentions of restraining them from roaming in the streets at night and creating a nuisance. When Khan contacted the Dabeerpura PS, cops were ready to coordinate with him, so the youngsters could receive training from the centre. Many detained youth hope for a platform to launch their careers. Training: The student gets basic training of software and hardware from the centre. In a year, there are two batches with 50 students each. If a student shows a desire to learn more, they are given cloud computing training. Also Read Telangana Wakf Board to sponsor training Besides Computer training: Not only computer training was given to the student but the centre also focuses on the communication skills of the youth. As many of them come from underprivileged backgrounds and cannot make it through interviews because they are lack of ability to put their point across. Future Planning: Khan also plans to expand his service to other underserved areas of the Old City soon.
