Telangana: Dassehra Holidays extended till this date

A+ A-Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed the officials to extend the Dassehra holidays till October 19. The decision has been taken in the view of the ongoing TSRTC strike, to avoid inconvenience to the students as several buses confined to depots and not much buses are available. CM also asked the officials to issue a notification. As reported by Hans India, although the colleges were running, only a few per cent of attendance was recorded due to non-availability of the buses. The chief minister asked the officials to deploy more buses until the educational institutions reopen in the state.
