A+ A-Hyderabad: The Telangana State Taxi and Drivers Associations’ JAC on Thursday announced that 50,000 Ola, Uber and IT companies’ cab drivers will launch an indefinite strike on October 19. The drivers are seeking better living and work conditions by pegging the minimum fare at Rs 22 per kilometre. JAC said that a tab should be kept on the number of cabs attached to aggregator marketplaces in order to guarantee minimum business to all drivers.
