Civic body turns blind eye to killer manholes

A+ A-HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has turned a blind eye to the increasing number of manholes which are not only taking a bad shape, but also leads to many tragedies. The area mentioned in the video is from Muradnagar near Choti Masjid where the drainage manhole can be seen wide open risking lives of pedestrians and motorists. Also, overflowing garbage bin with trash scattered all around ‘greet’ motorists and pedestrians by causing inconvenience. Despite this, the city is called ‘Greater Hyderabad.’That why, a saying, ‘Hyderabad Nagina Upar Mithi Andar Chuna’ perfectly suit the city.
