Hyderabad: Huge Processions taken out to mark Milad-Un-Nabi

A+ A-Hyderabad: The birth anniversary celebrations of Prophet Mohammed were held across the State on Sunday on a grand manner. The Milad-un-Nabi procession to mark birthday of Prophet Mohammad started on a joyful note from Charminar on Sunday. The main procession started from Dargah Quadri Chaman and several tributary processions joined it at Charminar. Deputy Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Baba Fasiuddin took part in a special program held in his division Borabanda. Setting aside caste and religious differences, a peace rally was taken out by Veda pandits, pastors and Muslim religious leaders.

Several public representatives also took part in the celebrations across the State. The Milad-un-Nabi procession to mark birthday of Prophet Mohammad started on a joyful note from Charminar on Sunday. In their festive attires and holding flags, thousands of youths participated in the procession being taken out by various religious organizations under the banner of Sunni United Forum of India. Some 50,000 people are expected to participate in the procession which will conclude in the evening. The main procession started from Dargah Quadri Chaman and several tributary processions joined it at Charminar. Elaborate security measures were made by police. Deputy Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Baba Fasiuddin took part in a special program held in his division Borabanda. Similarly, the Muslims in Adilabad district held a special program to celebrate Milad-un-Nabi. Nagarkurnool MLA Harshavardhan Reddy took part in the celebrations held at his constituency. A large number of Muslims took part in the celebrations. Setting aside caste and religious differences, a peace rally was taken out by Veda pandits, pastors and Muslim religious leaders. They explained about the importance of Milad-Un-Nabi on the occasion.
