15,000 delegates to attend TRS Plenary: KTR

Municipal Administration and IT Minister KT Rama Rao today stated that some 15,000 delegates from 31 districts will be attending the TRS Plenary to be conducted at Kompally on April 21. Arrangements have been made for the leaders coming from various Assembly and parliamentary constituencies at the site. The vehicles coming from districts should take Outer Ring Road and make it to the plenary following sign boards and park their vehicles in 35 acres, he said. He inspected the arrangements for the plenary along with leaders on Wednesday. KTR also stated that no hoardings or publicity material be used within in the GHMC limits for this event.

He inspected the arrangements for the plenary along with leaders on Wednesday. Later, he told presspersons that better arrangements have been made for the plenary to be started with TRS boss and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao addressing the inaugural meeting after unveiling the party flag at 10.30 am besides paying tributes to Telangana martyrs. Home Minister and selection committee chairman Nayini Narsimha Reddy will announce the new president of the party, who will address the meeting to be attended by over 15,000 delegates from all the districts. Arrangements have been made for the leaders coming from various Assembly and parliamentary constituencies at the site. MP and resolutions committee chairman K Keshav Rao will coordinate the program. The plenary will take a break at 1 pm for lunch and restart at 2 pm and the Plenary will conclude with KCR remarks by 5 pm. KTR said that special arrangements are being made for the leaders, VIPs, artistes, media persons, women and other people at the plenary to have separate seating, food and parking besides issuing special passes for the mega event. Keeping in view the sunny days and sweltering heat, cool water and butter milk sachets will be distributed to those coming to the plenary to be served by about 1000 volunteers. The vehicles coming from districts should take Outer Ring Road and make it to the plenary following sign boards and park their vehicles in 35 acres, he said. KTR also stated that no hoardings or publicity material be used within in the GHMC limits for this event. Emergency medical vans and six fire tenders are put in place and those coming to the plenary will get special passes at the venue point, he added. (NSS)
