Congress serious over ‘false case’

  • | Tuesday | 18th July, 2017

The Congress on Monday stepped up its tirade against the State government claiming that a false murder case was booked against its Warangal district president Nayini Rajender Reddy and two other party workers. In his letter to the Chief Minister, Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy highlighted that the case was foisted under pressure from local TRS leaders. In the remand report filed by the police, it was shown that Mr. Rajender Reddy, Mr. Sriman and Mr. Sekhar had conspired to commit the murder in December 2015. It was pertinent to note that Mr. Rajender Reddy lost his only son who was an engineering student in a road accident in Hyderabad in November 2015. Mr. Jana Reddy and two other senior leaders of Congress — T. Jeevan Reddy and Mohammed Ali Shabbir — told a press conference that Mr. Rajender Reddy was no way connected to the murder.
