Adilabad in-charge First Additional Sessions Judge Aruna Sarika on Thursday sentenced one Sher Khan alias Mujahid of Nirmal to 10 years imprisonment for kidnap and continuous sexual assault of a minor girl of Nirmal. The judge also imposed a fine of ? 50,000 on the accused out of which ? 45,000 would be paid as compensation to the victim. According to the prosecution the accused had kidnapped the victim on September 22, 2014 and confined her to a room in Pardi (B) of Kubeer mandal until November 19. During this period he had continuously assaulted her sexually.
