Guntur woman pilgrim dies in Makkah

Hyderabad: An elderly woman pilgrim belonging to Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh died in Makkah on Thursday. Special Officer Telangana Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor told that she died after falling ill. Prof. Shukoor contacted Indian Hajj Mission and Khadimul Hujjaj and directed to conduct her funeral rites. Accompanied by her son, daughter-in-law and grandson, 71-year-old, Fatima Bi having cover no APF-210-5 left for the holy pilgrimage from Hyderabad embarkation point on August 22. Her funeral prayer is likely to be performed in Haram Shareef and burial will take place in Jannatul Hujjaj graveyard in Mina.

Prof. Shukoor contacted Indian Hajj Mission and Khadimul Hujjaj and directed to conduct her funeral rites. Her funeral prayer is likely to be performed in Haram Shareef and burial will take place in Jannatul Hujjaj graveyard in Mina. 9 pilgrims have died so far who set off from Hyderabad embarkation point, of which 6 belonged to Telangana, while 2 belong to Andhra Pradesh and one was from Karnataka.
