HR manager held for harassing job applicant

A 32-year-old human resource manager of an IT company was nabbed by Hyderabad SHE Teams on Monday for harassing a woman on social media. Police said that in her complaint, the victim stated that Reddy was pestering her to love him and even started blackmailing her. The victim approached SHE teams and lodged a complaint against Singh, who was later arrested by the police and is in judicial custody.

Narender Singh, a resident of Himayatnagar. According to the police, the complainant, who is an engineering graduate, said that she had recently attended a job interview in an IT company. Narender Singh, the HR department head, told her that the status of her selection will be informed through phone and shared his contact number. “Later, when she contacted him through WhatsApp to know the status of her job, in return Singh asked her to send obscene photographs of herself to get selected for the job,” police said. The victim approached SHE teams and lodged a complaint against Singh, who was later arrested by the police and is in judicial custody. Stalker arrested In yet another case of harassment, the Saroornagar police on Monday arrested one Santosh Reddy for stalking a 16-year-old student. Police said that in her complaint, the victim stated that Reddy was pestering her to love him and even started blackmailing her. Based on a complaint the police arrested and remanded him.
