Security has been tightened across Imphal following the incident.Chief minister N Biren Singh, who met the injured at RIMS hospital here, strongly condemned the incident. IMPHAL: Suspected militants on Thursday evening triggered two grenade explosions in Imphal , injuring three Assam Rifles jawans and a migrant worker.The incident occurred near the main entrance of Mapal Kangjeibung (Pologround), close to the northern compound wall of the Raj Bhavan, at 6.10 pm. The other injured, a sugarcane juice seller, is a non-local. The personnel, along with their officers, had come to the Pologround in connection with an equestrian event to be held there. He said coordination among state and central forces would be strengthend further to foil such subversive activities.Sources said the grenades exploded one after another within seconds, injuring the three jawans.
