Assam Rifles Seizes Drugs Worth Rs 28 Crore in Manipur

GUWAHATI: Troops of the Assam Rifles in an operation recovered huge amount of contraband drugs worth Rs 28 crore near Moreh in Tengnoupal district, Manipur recently. Approximate worth of the recovered contraband items is Rs 28 crore. The recovered contraband items and the apprehended individual have been handed over to Moreh police for further legal action. In yet another incident, troops of the Assam Rifles, recovered brown sugar worth Rs 1.23 crore near Khudengthabi check-post in Tengnoupal district recently.
