Indore: Man found dead along roadside

INDORE: A 28-year-old man was found dead along roadside after a party in Azad Nagar late on Saturday.The man, Imran, son of Sheikh Munna, was rushed to hospital by his family members after he was found lying near a showroom in Palda area. One of his friends had called them and informed that Imran had met with an accident and asked them to rush to the spot.As they reached the showroom, they saw that Imran was lying along the roadside. But, doctors told them that he had died some time ago.Wasim, brother of the deceased said that he owned a garage and had consumed alcohol along with his friends Kalu, Amrit, Zuber. Police officials, too, reached the spot.Police officials involved in the line of investigation said that the body was sent for postmortem and were awaiting its report to confirm whether Imran had died of an accident or was murdered.Prima facie it appeared to be a case of accident, but, the way in which Imran’s friends had fled the spot and informed family about the accident, seemed suspicious, said police.“He may have met with an accident, but we are still awaiting postmortem report to be sure,” Azad Nagar police station in charge Vinod Dixit said.
