Indore: An 18-year-old girl died whereas her 25-year-old lover was hospitalized in Udaipur after the duo took poison in Neemuch late on Thursday.“The couple allegedly sat in a van and consumed poison. They were found unconscious in the van by some locals, who took them to hospital,” said Neemuch police station officer IK Tiwari.The girl identified as Kavita was declared brought dead, whereas the youth, Vishal Jain was said to be in a critical condition. He was referred to Udaipur, where he is admitted in the ICU.Police said that Vishal, a resident of Jamunia Kala village in Neemuch, is married and has two children, whereas his girlfriend Kavita was a resident of Champi. They were in love with each other and consumed poison because they couldn’t get married.Police said that Vishal’s wife and his mother had seen the duo on a bike while they were returning home from a function. They had tried to stop them and asked the girl to get down from the vehicle. A brief scuffle ensued between them after which Vishal left with Kavita.Vishal’s wife also went topolice station to file a complaint against him for cheating on her.
