INDORE: Youth-related issues have taken centre stage in Dewas district and are likely to dictate the outcome of the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.Around 30 per cent voters of the district are below 30 years of age and political parties are trying to woo this chunk to win the ballot war.Out of the total 10,70,140 voters in the entire Dewas district, 3,20,490 voters are below 30 years of age, according to the Election Commission data. Rising resentment over unemployment, wage disparity and lack of infrastructure to attract industries in the region have prompted both ruling and opposition parties to roll out plans to lure young voters.BJP's Dewas unit president Nand Kishore Patidar said, “We are planning a youth convention in Dewas.
