MR 10 Assets worth lakhs destroyed in plastic factory fire

Indore: A fire broke out at a plastic factory in Kumeri Kankad area at MR-10 on Sunday morning destroying assets worth lakhs of rupees.The blaze triggered at 8:12am at Swarn Shaktiman – a plastic balls producing factory- allegedly due to short circuit.Passersby and locals noticed the fire and raised the alarm following which fire tenders were called in. But the valuables in the factory took no time in catching the fire and very high flames started rising from it.A fire tender rushed to the spot soon after receiving information about the blaze. Several fire fighters were engaged in bringing the fire under control,” said sub-inspector Amar Singh.The actual loss due to the fire is being assessed by the factory management.

Several fire fighters were engaged in bringing the fire under control,” said sub-inspector Amar Singh.The actual loss due to the fire is being assessed by the factory management.
