The accused had dropped him near a police outpost in Sagar and fled the spot.On Monday, police had arrested Santosh Vishwakarma, a resident of Ganeshdham Colony in Banganga in Indore. While Santosh was responsible for making arranging phone and SIM cards, Ankit and Anish ensured that the abductors received all the help to transport the kid to Lalitpur. Police suspect that someone close to the family must have given information about daily routine of the child and his movements, which helped the criminals in committing the crime.Akshat Jain was abducted from a garden near his home on Sunday afternoon.

Indore: The gang, which had abducted six-year-old boy, Akshat Jain, was part of an organised nexus from Uttar Pradesh and had committed the crime for ransom, police said on Wednesday.The accused had demanded ransom of Rs 10 lakh from Akshat’s father, but, he informed police, sources said.Police said that the vehicle used for committing the crime was seized and the mastermind behind the abduction was identified and arrested from Lalitpur of Uttar Pradesh.The accused were being questioned to find out person who aided their recce, police said.
