Indore: Indore zila panchayat has issued showcause notice to the district education officer (DEO) as he failed to take legal action against Mother Parvati Education Society (MP Public School) after finding irregularities in its working.DEO CK Sharma has been asked to explain why disciplinary action under section (3) of MP Civil Service (Conduct) Rules 1965 should not be taken against him for not furnishing required documents and clarification as needed in probe launched against alleged irregularities by the education society.The notice reads that MP Kids High Secondary School has been registered at Anjani Nagar on Aerodrome Road while the classes have been found conducting at Ashok Nagar. Besides, one of its schools named MP Kids School has been found operating at 182 Anjani Nagar and some of the classes were organised in other building at Shikshak Nagar. As part of its probe, Indore zila panchayat had demanded some documents and clarification from DEO. “ DEO has been issued a notice asking him to submit his reply by Monday. On failing to this or finding the reply dissatisfactory, action against him will be proposed,” zila panchayat CEO Neha Meena told TOI.Sharma has also been instructed to immediately file an FIR against the education society for irregularities in operation of its schools.
