However, if they think upgrade of seats is necessary for college and doctors, the importance of public services should also be kept in mind. If diploma seats are converted to PG seats, they should provide 50% reservation in PG seats now so that medical officers can specialize and provide better health services,” said Dr Madhav Hassani, general secretary of MP medical officer’s association.
