IITians get lessons on Brexit complexities

Fekri presented his views on ‘Brexit: A Complex Geopolitical Scenario’ on the occasion. The decennial celebration was held along with Alumni Meet 2019 ‘Magnum Opus’. Alumni with their family members attended the event. Experts from industry also shared their insights and information about various opportunities and initiatives to encourage entrepreneurial endeavors among young men and women.The celebration concluded with a panel discussion and enriching interaction between students, faculty members and alumni.

Indore: Being global and living together should be the strength of nations in today’s world, said Dr Nader Fekri, a political science academic, during foundation day celebrations at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore on Sunday.Fekri, a visiting professor of politics at University of Mumbai said, “The strength of nations in today’s world of globalization is in ‘Being Global and Living Together’. It makes not just economic, but also political sense to be together and grow with each other.” IIT Indore celebrated its 10th foundation day on Sunday. The decennial celebration was held along with Alumni Meet 2019 ‘Magnum Opus’. Alumni with their family members attended the event. Fekri presented his views on ‘Brexit: A Complex Geopolitical Scenario’ on the occasion. IIT Indore director Pradeep Mathur highlighted achievements of the institute, especially its global ranking amongst top 400 institutions and second rank among all Indian institutions in Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019.He invited all alumni for continued engagement and active collaborations and in the process become a significant part of upward trajectory of institute’s growth and development.On the occasion, alumni shared their experiences with students and inspired students to take risks and become entrepreneurs and work in areas of their interest. Experts from industry also shared their insights and information about various opportunities and initiatives to encourage entrepreneurial endeavors among young men and women.The celebration concluded with a panel discussion and enriching interaction between students, faculty members and alumni.
