Varsity to conduct final year exam before poll code sets in

Indore: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya ( DAVV ) is planning to conduct sixth semester examination for students of BA, BCom and BSc in last week of March.To make sure that model code of conduct doesn't hamper examinations of final semester, varsity decided to conduct the examination in last week of next month.“Once code of conduct is implemented, we might face issues regarding examination centre. Apart from final semester undergraduate courses examinations, the varsity is also planning to conduct examination for all odd semesters of law courses.The varsity is likely to conduct examination for first, third fifth and seventh semester of various law courses in last week of March, he added.Around 70-75k students will be appearing for BA, BCom and BSc sixth semester examinations that varsity has planned to conduct, whereas there are around 10k students in odd semesters of various law courses.“We are deciding over conducting odd semesters for all law courses as well in last week of March,” said Tiwari while talking to TOI.
